Foundations 101: Grantmaking Basics

In the last module of the Foundations 101 Series, learn about the key elements of a standard grantmaking cycle, and then discover the additional tools in your toolbox for making an impact with your giving. Gain insight into the value of focusing your funding, designing a grantmaking program driven by learning, and streamlining your work. We’ll cover the Classical Grantmaking process as well as how to have an outsized impact with Catalytic Leadership in Philanthropy.    

By the end of this session, you will be able to:  

  • Identify a few key steps in the grants cycle and where you could shift your process  
  • Restate the concepts behind using all the tools in your toolbox and embarking on a learning journey in your focus area
