Catalytic Philanthropy – Changemaker in Residence (1099 or P/T)
The Changemaker in Residence (CIR) is an experienced philanthropic leader and Catalytic Philanthropy practitioner who will help scale Exponent Philanthropy’s signature Catalytic Philanthropy initiative from a successful pilot into a nationally recognized field-building movement.
Embedded within Exponent Philanthropy’s team, the CIR will:
- Expand and professionalize Catalytic Academy’s program portfolio, reach, and impact as a high-impact national model for community-centered philanthropy
- Design, launch, and train a Catalytic consulting and coaching service model supporting coaches, guides, and staff for long-term sustainability of the program
- Collaborate and cultivate philanthropic investment in partnership with the Advancement team
- Serve as a Catalytic Philanthropy ambassador and provide field-wide thought leadership that extends Catalytic Philanthropy beyond Exponent’s membership as a movement for the broader sector
This role brings lived experience, credibility, and entrepreneurial thinking to accelerate CLIP’s reach, sustainability, and impact across the philanthropic sector. An experienced lean funder/donor (CEO, staff, board member, etc.) is preferred.
Compensation:
Reports to the Managing Director of Knowledge. 1099 (preferred) or part-time W-2. 15–30 hours/week. $4,000 – $10,000/month, depending on hours; retainer or hourly. Additional travel budget available. Compensation to be revisited if the role becomes full-time.
