That is part of it. However, when we think of leadership, we are thinking of something bigger and more fundamental. With insights from many people like you, we are exploring how small foundations:
- Lead in their communities
- Lead to pursue impact in their areas of interest
- Lead in the field of philanthropy and in society
- Support leadership among grantee organizations
Exponent Philanthropy began our research believing that small foundations are uniquely positioned and capable of leadership in our democracy. Through our interviews so far, we are finding our assumption to be true.
